Papercraft prototype

 

I decided to create my object based on an elephant planter I own. For the elephant base I created a hollowed bowl shaped body and added legs and a face.

In the final version I would like to add cacti and/or some foliage, I was also clear to me once I created the paper prototype of the body that I would need to scale up the entire thing in order for the smaller, more complex parts like the trunk to turn out better looking and more structurally sound.
